Propecia’s label does now warn that these sexual side effects can develop during Propecia usage; but the labeling warning also says the side effects should go away after discontinuing use. Erectile Dysfunction – Erectile dysfunction occurs when a man is unable to obtain or maintain an erection. This can be very embarrassing to a man and can hurt his self-image and kill his sexual desire.

Genital shrinkage – In some men, the testicles or penis shrank in size. Men are very self-conscience about the size of their genitals, so a decrease in size has serious negative effects on a man’s self image.

Gynecomastia – Gynecomastia is the enlargement of male breast tissue. Men who develop enlarged breasts often feel feminine and lost their sense of “manhood.” Although gynecomastia generally regresses, the damage can already be done.
